Apple has begun rolling out its first set of Apple Intelligence features to eligible iPhones, iPads, and Macs, bringing new AI-powered tools like improved Siri and enhanced writing capabilities. According to Bloomberg, a second wave of features—like Image Playground and Genmoji—is expected in the iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 updates, likely arriving on December 2 (barring any delays).
While iOS 18.2 will expand Apple Intelligence’s availability to more countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK, the highly anticipated ChatGPT-integrated Siri is set to launch later, potentially in early 2025 with iOS 18.4.
Apple also confirmed that by April 2025, Apple Intelligence will be available in additional languages, including Indian English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and more, bringing AI tools to a global audience.
For now, users with the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, select iPads, and Apple Silicon Macs will be among the first to access these features post-update. Apple aims to complete the Apple Intelligence rollout by WWDC 2025, where it’s expected to reveal iOS 19 along with new AI innovations.
