WhatsApp, the popular chat app owned by Facebook, is introducing new features for its users. One notable addition is the ability to pin messages in chats and groups, allowing users to access important messages easily. This feature will simplify communication by bringing critical messages to the forefront. If a recipient is using an older version of the app, they will be prompted to upgrade.
In addition to the pinning feature, WhatsApp is increasing the character limit for group subjects and descriptions from 512 to 2049 characters. iPhone users will also benefit from a new and improved group subject feature with a 100-character limit.
