Chinese smartphone manufacturer Poco has officially affirmed that its mid-tier Poco X6 5G smartphone series is set to make its debut in India on January 11. Notably, Poco’s sibling brand Redmi is also gearing up to unveil its Redmi Note 13 5G smartphone series at an event scheduled for January 4.
Furthermore, as per a report by 91Mobiles, the Poco X6 will be accessible in black, blue, and white hues. Anticipatedly, the smartphone is poised to offer configurations of up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while incorporating a 64MP primary camera.
Conversely, the Poco X6 Pro is speculated to be available in Black, Grey, and Yellow color variations, housing a 64MP primary camera sensor on its rear side.

The Poco X6 5G series is expected to be introduced in two iterations: the standard Poco X6 5G and the marginally more upscale Poco X6 Pro 5G. According to information from Gizmochina, the Poco X6 is likely to be a rebranded iteration of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, while the Poco X6 Pro is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70e.
The Gizmochina report posits that the Poco X6 5G may showcase a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5k and a brisk refresh rate of 120Hz. The Poco X6 is also anticipated to be propelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Optically, the mid-tier smartphone might boast a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and an additional 2MP sensor.
A recent report from MySmartPrice highlighted the Poco X6 Pro 5G making appearances on certification platforms such as NBTC, BIS, and FCC. The report indicates that the Poco X6 Pro 5G is poised for a global launch, including India, by the conclusion of January.
