This time, it’s a street food vendor from Thailand who has created a buzz. The video in question shows the vendor making pasta, but not with regular spaghetti – she uses black-colored noodles, which has shocked some users. In fact, a few claim that those noodles resemble the ones from Marvel’s “Venom.”
The video, which was shared by an Instagram food page, features the vendor cooking the black noodles with some vegetables, spices, and shrimp. The caption read, “Unique Street Food of Thailand.” The video has since gone viral, and users are amazed at how the vendor prepares the dish.
In the video, the vendor can be seen adding black noodles to a pan of onions, chilies, basil, and shrimp, and then mixing all the ingredients properly. The dish appears to be spicy, as the vendor adds more chilies on top of the noodles in the pan. After mixing it properly, she serves it on a white plate.
The video is presumed to be from Bangkok, as the user who shared the video mentioned the location in the hashtag. Some users found the dish impossible to consume, while others compared the noodles to earthworms. A few even commented that they were scared to witness the noodles start crawling. Others, however, found it appetizing and believed that it looked tasty. One user commented, “That’s black squid ink pasta, actually looks yummy though.”
